Kikusui TOS5401 5kV AC / 6kV DC Hipot Withstanding Voltage Tester

The Kikusui TOS5401 is an AC and DC hipot tester designed for electrical safety testing in production, quality assurance, research and certification environments. It provides AC withstand voltage testing up to 5kV at 100mA, and DC withstand voltage testing up to 6kV at 10mA.

A high-efficiency PWM switching amplifier delivers stable high-voltage output with minimal influence from fluctuations in the incoming AC supply. The 7-inch touchscreen provides clear access to test settings, measurement results and supporting diagrams, while LAN, USB and RS-232C interfaces support integration into automated test systems.

The adjustable discharge detection function can identify momentary arc and corona discharges that may be missed by conventional current-limit testing. Rise and fall time control, automatic test functions, and faster output control also help improve safety, repeatability and production throughput.
