MICROTEST 7640 1-Channel 5kV AC / 6kV DC / 100GΩ Hi-Pot Tester

The MICROTEST 7640 is a single-channel, three-in-one electrical safety tester that combines AC withstand voltage, DC withstand voltage, and insulation resistance testing in one production-ready instrument. It delivers up to 5kV AC at 30 mA, 6kV DC at 10 mA, and insulation-resistance measurements from 200 kω to 100 GΩ.

Designed for component, cable, motor, appliance and power-electronics testing, the 7640 combines programmable test sequences with adjustable arc detection, True RMS measurement and a safety interlock. Its colour TFT display, internal file storage, USB host/device connectivity, RS-232, remote control and EXT I/O make it suitable for both engineering benches and integrated production systems.
