MICROTEST 8740NAK-1024P 1,024-Pin 2-Wire Cable & Harness Tester, 700 V AC / 1 kV DC

The MICROTEST 8740NAK-1024P is a 1,024-pin 2-wire cable and wire harness tester with continuity measurement from 100 mΩ to 52 Ω. Its two-wire measurement method supports general wiring and connection checks on production cable assemblies. It combines AC Hipot testing up to 700 V with DC Hipot testing up to 1 kV, insulation resistance covering 0.1 MΩ–1.2 GΩ, open/short testing, intermittent-fault detection and resistor, capacitor and diode checks. The 1,024-point K configuration provides additional connection capacity in a 435 × 270 × 360 mm enclosure. Storage for up to 500 test files and RS-232, USB Host, printer and remote interfaces support repeat production work.
